The Children’s Commissioner for Jersey works to promote and protect the rights of children in Jersey.

This was one of many projects collaborating with CCOJ. In this project they wanted US to bring their recent research study to life, which tells the stories of children and young people in Jersey aged from 9-18. In line with her mandate, the Children’s Commissioner wanted childrens views to be central in the development of the study, and so it employs a unique children’s right based methodology.

Following the development of brand guideline US put the system to use in a viewbook as well as giving the stories a digital presence online on the existing website and social media. 

The goal was to create an easy to navigate report which clearly illustrates each area of study.

The book is dense with details about the lives of young people in Jersey, all presented in a highly visual way with infographics, annotated images and illustrations that describe the diverse lives and experienced of life in Jersey.
